Guess what today is…. Blog Update Sunday! Did you think we were going to say something else?
We figured we would use this lazy Superbowl Sunday to finally get some work done and make a much needed update to the blog. One of the most crucial items to go over during an initial wedding consultation are our album options, so we thought it might be a good idea to show you some album photos so you can get an idea of what the different albums look like. We are currently offering 2 different album options, a coffee table album and a flush mount album. They come in at different price points allowing our couples to choose the book that is right for their budget, but each has their own advantages and disadvantages.

Coffee Table Album
We are using a deluxe leather coffee table book. It is affordable and offers up to 100 pages to maximize the amount of photography and coverage, which really allows us to tell the whole story of the day.

The leather is smooth with some nice accent stitching. The coffee table book is a press printed book which means that the printing looks like any store bought coffee table book you might own. The pages are a whopping 15″x 11.5″. You can see how the book is bound in the middle and the pages bend.

Flush Mount Album
We are offering a 12″x 12″ flush mount album as our top of line album option. It represents the best in quality and craftsmanship. The leather cover is super soft and very luxurious. So soft you might even want to use it as a pillow. The leather features a very slight pebbled appearance. It really is very stylish.

One of the great advantages to the flush mount album is the photographic printing quality. They basically take 12″x 24″ printed photographs and mount them to a thick substrate core. This gives the images superb quality and high durability. The binding of the book allows the pages to lay completely flat which means what we can design spreads where the images go right across the center. It really is a great look.

You can really see the color and quality of the printing in that last photo. The images just want to jump off the page. The downside to the flush mount album is that because the pages are so thick, there is a limit to the number of pages. Our standard flush mount album is 20 pages. Additional pages can be added at an expense but the cost adds up pretty quickly on an already expensive book.
