For Cristina and Ryan’s engagement session, we headed to the Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, NJ. We had heard about this place before, but it was our first time shooting there, and we were really impressed. We didn’t have access to the entire arboretum because there was a wedding reception taking place during our session, but Cristina and Ryan had some fun wedding music and speeches to listen to while we were shooting =) Coincidentally, the wedding taking place at the time was being shot by the photographers who shot our own wedding almost 2 years ago! Small world!

We didn’t know what to expect when Kristin and Dominick told us they wanted to do their engagement session in Kristin’s dad’s backyard, but we were pleasantly surprised! With the trees, grass, pond, benches, and flowers, we felt like we had our own private park to shoot in. It was a beautiful setting for a great couple. Then, we headed to Clinton, New Jersey where we snapped a few more pictures in town on a perfect Spring day. Kristin and Dominick will be tying the knot in September at the Olde Mill Inn!

No, we weren’t in shooting in the Windy City on Saturday, but it sure felt like it! Despite the hurricane winds, we had a great time at Rutgers University with Monica and Alex. Like the two of us, Monica and Alex met at Rutgers, so it was a lot of fun for all of us to visit our old stomping grounds! We had fun taking a walk down memory lane and sharing stories and memories from our college days.
We’re looking forward to Monica and Alex’s wedding at the Phoenixville Foundry in September!
